She stated that as the largest economic center city in China, the core city of the Yangtze River Delta world-class urban agglomeration, and an important international economic, financial, trade, shipping, and technological innovation center in China, Shanghai is accelerating the promotion of high-level institutional opening-up by building major open platforms, conducting stress tests, and strengthening cross regional city coordination and linkage. Shanghai is focusing on promoting the upgrading of the international trade center and the construction of an international consumption center city, enhancing the level of an international exhibition city, and accelerating the creation of a market-oriented, rule of law, and international first-class business environment. Shanghai sincerely invites Australian friends to come to Shanghai and fully experience the development and changes of this city, and work together to embark on a new journey of cooperation and create new brilliance.
At the meeting, the Municipal Commission of Commerce also promoted Shanghai's construction as an international consumer city and the "Shanghai Summer" international consumer season. Introduced more than 60 high-quality, high traffic, and high-energy concerts, music festivals, cultural performances, various commercial, cultural and artistic exhibitions, and major sports events that will be launched from July to October.
