Regarding the customs strict inspection of the markings on the outer boxes of lithium batteries
Recently, all my social media posts have been cracking down on lithium battery concealment by customs, requiring that lithium batteries or products with built-in lithium batteries must have battery labels affixed to their outer boxes. Because battery markings have fixed size requirements. So now we are specifically analyzing this outer box marking.
First, take a look at the various network images that convey information online: (Remember to look at the red text and correct icons at the end)

The size of many battery markings above is incorrect. When regulations required modifications to the markings, the marking size was adjusted from 120mm in length x 110mm in width to 100mm in length x 100mm in width.

The minimum marking is adjusted from: length 105mm * 74mm to: length 100mm * width 70mm.
According to the previous regulations, the correct markings are UN numbers and contact numbers, with dimensions of 100mm in length and 100mm in width.
In version 7.1.5.5, the lithium battery marking was revised and the requirement to provide phone numbers on the marking was removed. During the transition period until December 31, 2026, a battery marker (including a phone logo) measuring 100mm in length and 100mm in width can continue to be used. Alternatively, it is also correct to use the latest markings that do not contain a phone number.
Finally, please find attached the latest battery marking requirements (horizontal line to remove phone number):
